While the rest of the herd shifted and walked in and out of the haze, this stallion stepped into the open and paused. The light wrapped around him, outlining his mane and back while his legs and belly sank into shadow. I exposed for the brightest parts of the frame to keep the intensity of the glow, allowing the stripes to soften and blend into the light.
