This young cheetah walking towards camera is the same cheeky brother, now in a calmer but very focused mood. After his dramatic hiss on the track, he settled into a smooth, confident walk straight toward us.

I stayed low beside the road, letting him choose the distance. His mouth is just slightly open, whiskers forward, but the feeling here is less about display and more about intent. Each step is measured. He knows we are there and decides to walk on anyway.

In this frame the young cheetah walking towards camera fills the centre of the composition. His long legs create strong vertical lines, leading the viewer’s eye up to his focused face, while the blurred track and soft green background keep the scene clean and simple.
