We had been to Kruger Park in South Africa 5 years in a row, and decided that it was time for a bigger African adventure. We really wanted to get a taste of real wild Africa, and Carole’s Kgalagadi trip seemed perfect. It was an unequalled adventure, with plenty of unforgettable moments. We can’t seem to stop talking about how wonderful it was! This was the first trip out of many, that was really organised for photography. Nothing was too much for Carole! She made sure that we could get the best pictures possible, and was constantly looking for opportunities to teach and show us how to take better pictures. What was very important to me is that she was not there to get the shots herself. Our photography was her priority!

Na 5x het Krugerpark te hebben bezocht, vonden we het tijd voor een groter Afrikaans avontuur in 2020.We waren klaar om het echte Afrika te proeven en na lang zoeken, viel de keuze op de Kalahari reis, begeleid door Carole.
Het was een prachtig en onovertreffelijk avontuur, met heel veel mooie momenten, die we nooit zullen vergeten en waar we niet over uitgepraat geraken.
Dit was onze eerste reis, uit reeds velen, waar de reisbegeleiding er ECHT was voor de fotografen. Niets was Carole teveel ! Ze deed er alles aan om ONS de plaatjes te gunnen en was constant op zoek naar nieuwe uitdagingen en situaties, om ons de kneepjes van de fotografie aan te leren.Ze was vooral niet op reis om zelf mooie foto’s te maken, maar des te meer om ervoor te zorgen dat wij met mooie kiekjes naar huis gingen.Vaak legde ze haar camera opzij, speciaal voor ons.
Ben je op zoek naar een reis met veel avontuur, een geweldige fotograaf als reisbegeleiding, iemand die tijd neemt om je fotografie naar een hoger niveau te tillen, je houdt van eten aan het kampvuur, heel de dag plezier beleven en dit met iemand die Afrika door en door kent, dan is er maar één adres : “ Wildlife Photography & Safari by Carole Deschuymere”.
Wij zijn alvast met mooie plaatjes naar huis gekomen en vonden de ganse reis op alle gebied TOP.
Onze reis naar Botswana in 2021 is ondertussen reeds lang geboekt.
